After Sarah, Hannah’s mom, purchased their Sprout package she received a survey and then a call from their designer, Lisa. When Designer Lisa created the lessons Sarah’s answers and conversation provided a road map of what Hannah, age 6, was excited about in her world. Because Hannah is in a Spanish immersion classroom, a bilingual book was chosen as one of the children’s literature titles. Hannah and Sarah enjoy bugs and nature so materials to explore the natural world were added. This parent child team liked puzzles but not necessarily board games. Hannah’s fine motor skills were an area of focus, particularly handwriting, so a sand tray and letter practice were included.
